The key to overperforming is underpromising.
The key to underpromising is a big lie.|
The key to a big lie is a lack of transparency.

And that my friends is the bottom line to the mushroom theory of leadership.
Keep the people in the dark and feed them bullshit.

And this stinks.

Where am I going with this you ask?

Remember Trump delivered the vaccines as he promised. He made that promise on hopes and forecasts from existing technology and science.

He did not diminish the expectations and was accused of overpromising by those who were really hoping for underperforming.
But the left was playing a win-win game with America’s future. If no vaccine, hell for Trump. If a vaccine, the Dems and Slow Joe take the credit when all they had to do was get the jabs in the shoulders. Stealing the credit for another’s work, and blaming others for your failures is Joe’s playbook.

The states had the responsibility under federalism to deliver the vaccines locally, and they too overpromised and underdelivered.

And they did so abysmally.

But a course correction that any bureaucrat could and would have made. Partly because of common sense, but mostly by just following the path to success forged by others.

Biden with the help of the private sector rushed in and filled the vacuum created by the incompetence of the blue states.

And yes, the red states did well. And the reddest of all that performed the best was West Virginia. Kentucky’s “boy gov” aka Andy Andy not so good.

So, the fact that Biden promised 100 million vaccines and delivered 200 million is not worthy of praise. Much less a Bidense pat on the shoulder.

Just like the games played by Cuomo with the lives of Americans to look “good”, Biden could have avoided vaccines going bad and got out all he had when he had them in the warehouses. He did not. And we know many did not get their jabs. For every vaccine that expired, life was at risk from the delay.

Now this is a jab at Slow Joe and deservedly so.
Fear is not the weapon of a free state, but the ammo of tyranny.
