If you do not suspend your belief and disbelief, then your bias will make you the fool and look really stupid.

Confirmation Bias – “An error in diagnostic thinking in which one sees only those patterns in the data that support one’s preconceptions.” We see this when we accept as true that which conformed to what we think or believe — without questioning or examining to see if it is accurate or true. Take the Russian collusion that embroiled our nation for 3+ years where so many politicians and pundits told whoppers and yet so many believed it readily and easily. This falsehood who rebutted but nobody said sorry or apologized.

Disconfirmation Bias is the flip side of confirmation bias. Whereas in confirmation bias you did not challenge that which confirmed what you already knew. But disconfirmation bias causes you to ignore that which is not consistent with what you already believe or know.

Thus, the two-headed monster. Actually, I like how Brit Hume phrased it – “Bias makes you stupid.” Don’t be stupid.

“When people are faced with evidence for and against their beliefs, they will be more likely to accept the evidence that supports their beliefs with little scrutiny yet criticize and reject that which disconfirms their beliefs. Generally, we will avoid or discount evidence that might show us to be wrong.” From Changing Mind.

For example, no one challenged Comey and the FBI regarding their attempted coup of a President; mostly because it was just so far out there it was utterly conceivable for a while. But the evidence kept piling up, and then we find out the Plan B was there all along.

Today in the midst of the chaos of the tabulation of votes in the 2020 Presidential Election between Trump and Biden, it is hard to believe that a political party would go to such lengths to orchestrate something as vile and anti-American as voter fraud, manipulation, for the sake of power.

I agree it is hard. But for now, all we know is that the Biden, Harris and the Democratic Party are just the beneficiaries of the voting problem from extended voting period, counting, ballot dumps, sharpies, indiscriminate mailing to those who did not ask for them, dead voters, voters who moved, failure to confirm registration and signatures, and more.

But this is just as hard it was to believe that a Alger Hiss was a communist who gave secrets to the Russians. But he did. And noone bought that until Whittaker Chambers produced the Pumpkin Microfilm.

So let us wonder why this just might be plausible by looking at the countervailing plausabilities that might expose our biases to at least open our minds to question what happened and why an investigation or litigation might just be needed to get to the truth.

1. Why were all of our long standing voting procedures which had proven secure and reliable? One day, one precinct, one vote, one ballot and one set of hands from completion to scantron. The changes fostered so much confusion, delayt, and points of vulnerability, to include unsolicited mailing, ballot harvesting, etc.

2. And those reports from mulitiple places of ballot dumps after closing makes you wonder in itself as to how they were handled and processed before getting there. And on top of that there are statistical impossibilities like 100,000 plus ballots for Biden with NONE in the pile for Trump. Worse than fishy.
3. And these ballots were counted in the dark of night without the observers required by law after arriving like the cavalry at key states where Trump was already ahead when Trump was already well ahead on the numbers?

Worse than problematic.

Suspend your disbelief and let us make sure only lawfully cast ballots get counted to make sure your vote and mine are neither denied nor discounted.

Some were already fooled by social media censory on the Hunter Biden emails and the eyewitness testimony of Mr. Bobulinski of VP Biden’s involvement in cash for influcence. And if you are not aware of this, you are going to be “pissed” that this was not only hidden but not reported or investigated by the main stream media.
