God’s Plan for Human Life:
In the Bible, we see that God values and plans for each human life. Psalm 139:13-16 (NIV) says, “For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place when I was woven together in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.”
This passage emphasizes God’s involvement in the creation of each person, even before birth.
The commandment “Thou shall not kill” (Exodus 20:13) is often cited in discussions about abortion. Many interpret this commandment as prohibiting the taking of innocent life, which has led some to view abortion as a violation of this commandment.
Face it. The law may go all-sophist and redefine abortion as a mother’s right or it is not murder or homicide. But, a killing is a killing. And man’s law does not supersede the law of the universe of our Creator.
